First hate crime was only there for blacks, now they are extending these rights to Gays and Lesbians. This is protectionism at its worse. Obviously, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the misguided individuals on Capitol Hill do not believe when a man rapes a woman it is a hate crime. Hmmm, does that mean it is a love crime? They obviously believe killing a child or a store clerk for a few bucks is also not a hate crime.
I feel this is the worse type of politicking and they are protecting a group of individuals in order to garner up a few additional votes and a couple high-fives. Aren’t all of us equal? Shouldn’t we all expect the same protection under the law? Obviously, women, children and store clerks are not equal in their eyes. It is also painfully obvious that if you are a white hetero male or female, you are not to be treated the same in our courts under their eyes; you are less of a person.
I say, we need to all be protected equally under the law. How about it, Pelosi, or are you only interested in working with the special interests groups?
