ACLU is way off base this time, again. They were throwing rocks, damaging law abiding citizens businesses, tossing garbage cans and they did not have a permit to gather. While watching the ‘group’ on TV, they actually looked as if they had a mob mentality and were out to do harm to personal property and life. Hey, where is Pelosi when you need her? Don’t they look like a mob Pelosi?
I agree with the police stopping the unlawful gathering. In today’s world, police
are basically darned if they do and darned if they don’t. If they didn’t stop the less than peacful mob, and people were hurt, the police would have been sued by ACLU. The ‘teachable moment’ here is to obtain a license prior protesting…peacefully, of course.
The odd thing is it appears more networks covered this little tiny group than the almost 2 million people who showed up at Capital Hill to protest the outrageous waste of our tax dollars and the obnoxious health care bill which would put us securely in the poor house. The mainstream media couldn’t be bias, could they?
