Associated Press description of Michael Smerconish as a conservative can be described as a huge stretch of the imagination. Yes, he was/still is registered as a Republican, but endorsed Obama, defends him to this day, and … was granted a White House exclusive interview today.
Well, the following clip clearly proves that the interview with “The One” is not a coincidence, and actually could be described as political payback. Mr. Smerconish is selling his new book and President Obama needs a “right winger” to paint his new health care bill in a more “balanced” manner.
Let Mr. Obama go on Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh or Michael Levin – these guys ARE the real thing, and not Mr. ”never-heard-of-him-wanna-be” Smerconish.
