Poland’s Commissioner for civil rights, Janusz Kochanowski asked today the Constitutional Tribunal if the higher 32% bracket of income tax law violates the Polish Constitution,
and its rule of equal treatment, equal protection and social justice. In Kochanowski’s opinion, a flat tax, would be a more socially just solution.
During his TV interview, Mr Kochanowski added that since corporations are subject to a flat income tax rule, so should private citizens.
