So, now we know why the new President was not so keen on day of prayer in the White House. Evidently, his faith experts told him that this could offend Jesus himself. Nancy Pelosi was not aware of the comment and was quoted to respond with:
“I really don’t know about that. But certainly, His Holiness is the head of an organization that has done more to alleviate poverty, eradicate disease, and is now addressing climate change issue and the rest.”
She and Joe Biden, two top Catholics in U.S. government, will probably have to visit the Vatican again, to provide extremist Pope with a crash course on the “living” document (besides the U.S. Constitution) - the Bible. I hope, she will have a chance to explain to Pope why she refers to HER and HIS own Church only as .. an “organization”.
