Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca), was defending her new spending pet project to include contraceptives in the “stimulus” package proposal currently being rushed in by the Democrats in Congress. Pelosi characterizes the newly proposed spending as “cost limiting” measure for the states. Two days earlier, she was an ecstatic witness of the executive order signed by B. Hussein Obama to unfreeze United States pro-abortion spending for 3rd world countries in Africa, South America and Asia.
As Drudge rightfully noticed:
‘Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, once said, “Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom,” seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury.’
One would wonder, why a mother of 5 and grandmother of 6 is so strong-headed about funding such projects. There is only one common denominator - all targeted unborn children are non-white and poor. It seems that the mentality of Pelosi can only be contributed to her racism rooted in the long standing tradition of Southern Democrats.
Confronted by Stephanopoulos on ABC News, Pelosi proudly stated:
‘No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.’
Let’s put aside the ridiculous motion that increasing spending on non-productive projects is an “investment”. The notion of killing unborn or preventing new children (future workforce) to help the economy is just…. cuckoo. She may also consult with Russian Prime Minister – Mr. Putin, whose government is currently busy promoting bigger families in his country, on the subject.
By the way, Ms. Pelosi, how will this expenditure create new jobs in America?
